This site is dedicated to the victims of the prosperitiy "gospel" preachers and abusive tithe demanding pastors.

Take Back Christianity exists to expose false teachings like:

* Using Romans 10:9 to lead an unsaved person into born again experience

 (Salvation in Romans 10:9 actually means salvation from the "power" of sin.

  In order to be born again one must believe in Jesus as seen in several verses in the New Testament) 

* Do not believe in "feelings" - Is this Biblical?

There is some in truth in saying do not believe in your feeling but it is half truth.

If someone ONLY believes in his/her feelings then it might lead to deception.

The best way to say this is: The feelings arise within your spirit man (the inner most being or heart) are genuine.  The best example is conscience.  The feelings arising in the realm of soul and emotions may be real or may not be real.
